Joe is the tubist in the Gateway City Orchestra.  He is an instrumental music teacher at Chenery Upper Elementary School in Belmont, MA, specializing in band for grades four through six.  He has taught in Andover MA, Boston University, Chelsea MA, and Waterville ME.  He is a member of the Central Mass Brass, and can be heard regularly in area orchestras and other ensemble.  He holds degrees from the University of New Hampshire, Boston University, and Fitchburg Stste University.  He lives in Fitchburg with his wife, dog, two cats, and many thousands of honey bees.  His son is a restaurateur in Bedford.
